Master Violinist Rhett Price
Written by Tricia (@GimmeUnusual)
I don’t know what rock I’ve been under and why no one dug me out, but when my ears heard Rhett Price play the violin for the first time, I was like a little kid in a candy store. I WANT SOME MORE! I WANT SOME MORE! Soooo, I stalked his Facebook page until I looked at every single one of his covers. Don’t judge me!
A smitten woman…no…borderline obsessed. I’ll admit it. The first step is admitting you have a problem. I watched many videos several times into the wee hours of the night. I even called my brother, “LOOK AT THIS! HE’S FUCKING AMAZING ISN’T HE?” My brother laughed at my enthusiasm but the musician in him could only agree…”He’s dope!”
Now let me clarify…when I say I’m obsessed, know that I mean in a healthy way and with solely his music. I’m not messaging him, following him, calling every number in Boston to see if he’ll answer or any kind of cyber stalking. It’s something about listening to him play the violin that is so intoxicating. I just can’t seem to get enough. Now I don’t want to take away from the obvious reasons people become obsessed. Mr. Price is VERY easy on the eyes…LADIES HE IS FINE! I don’t know if he’s single, but I’ll leave his contact information below (you know…the contact info that is public for ALL to find. No stalking required.)
I did not contact Rhett for an interview but here is what I found online about him. He first rose to fame back in 2013 with his take on Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble.” Like most starving artists, he played in subway cars for money. He attended the Berklee College of Music. And lastly, he released his first solo EP called “Kesha’s Mom” in 2015. Go to iTunes and buy it!
Rhett Price says, “Am I the meanest? *Sho nuff!* Am I the prettiest? *Sho nuff!* Am I the baddest MOFO LOW DOWN around this town? *Sho nuff!* Well who am I? *RHETT PRICE!* Who am I? *RHETT PRICE!* I CANT HEAR YOU! *RHETT PRICE *
So now when I say who’s the master, you say Rhett Price!
Who’s the master? *RHETT PRICE!!!* (and the crowd goes wild)
Now on to the fun stuff. This is the first song I heard Rhett play and I was a goner.
“679” by Fetty Wap
What are your thoughts? Did he steal your heart too? Here are some other ones I love:
“Want to Want Me” by Jason Derulo
“Sorry” by Justin Beiber
“Back to Sleep” by Chris Brown (a little blurry but we’re here for the sound)
“The Hills” by The Weeknd
“Pony” by Ginuwine
And before you comment on his broken bow strings…don’t!
I’m going to take a stab at it and say I think he may be aware.
Leave your thoughts below!
Well as promised, here is his contact info:
